Refund and Cancellation Policy

14-day money-back guarantee. Not satisfied with Premium? Tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full — no reason needed.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a Premium subscription, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason. This applies to your first paid subscription on an account, whether monthly or annual.

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel a Premium subscription at any time, without giving a reason and without contacting us. Open the Account page in the app and cancel there.

Cancelling stops future payments. Your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until that date — cancelling does not cut you off immediately, and it does not by itself produce a partial refund for the remainder of the period. After that date the account reverts to the free plan. It is not deleted.

Deleting your account is different from cancelling. Deletion cancels any subscription immediately rather than at the end of the period, so no further payments are taken — but the remainder of the period you have already paid for is lost and is not refunded. If you want the time you have paid for, cancel first and delete once the period has ended. The app says the same thing before you confirm. If you delete an account and later create a new one, any subscription time left on the old account does not carry over to it.

If you cannot reach your Account page for any reason, email hello@guanalyser.com and we will cancel it for you.

3. How to Request a Refund

Email hello@guanalyser.com from the address registered to your account, stating that you would like a refund. You may also request one through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, using the receipt they emailed you. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

4. How Refunds Are Paid

Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. Paddle typically completes this within 5–10 working days, though the time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer. We do not hold your payment details and cannot refund by any other route.

5. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page, effective at the end of the current paid period. If an annual subscription renews unexpectedly, contact us within 14 days of that charge and, provided you have made no substantial use of the Service in that period, we will refund it. Monthly renewals are not refunded after the fact — cancelling stops the next charge rather than reversing the last one.

6. Annual Subscriptions

Outside the 14-day windows described above, we do not routinely refund the unused part of an annual term. There are two exceptions.

If the Service is unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault, we will consider a pro-rata refund for the affected time.

And if we make a material change to our Terms of Service that you do not accept, annual subscribers have the right to a pro-rata refund for the unused portion. That right is set out in Section 13 of the Terms and applies whether or not it is repeated here.

7. Free Plan

The free plan involves no payment, so nothing is refundable. Cancelling Premium returns your account to the free plan; it does not delete your account or your saved content.

8. How This Sits Alongside Your Statutory Rights

Your purchase is made from Paddle as Merchant of Record, so your statutory 14-day withdrawal right — and the digital-content exception that applies once you have consented to immediate access and started using the Service — is handled by Paddle at checkout under their Buyer Terms. The guarantee set out above is offered voluntarily by us in addition to that, not instead of it. It does not replace, reduce or override any statutory right, and where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins. Your rights where the Service is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill are unaffected and always remain available to you.

9. Abuse

We may decline a refund only where there is evidence of deliberate refund abuse or fraud — for example, repeated refund-and-resubscribe cycles, or using more than one account to claim the first-purchase guarantee more than once. Nothing here reduces your statutory rights.
